What do you mean about "myself as an artist"? Do you mean myself as a person? Is it my personality or my art? You said "myself as an artist" yet the thing you said directly after that was related to how I talk to people???
Actually, it's called an "original character" and OC is just a shortening of that term, you want to clarify exactly what you're saying when explaining to someone what something is.
Yes, artists can make things look however they want but that in no way means that nobody else ever is allowed to have an opinion on how something looks. Biologically, the design choices in some OCs don't make sense, and as someone who is very interested in biology, I like to offer some of my knowledge in order to help some people improve.
MLP is in fact, not gay. MLP is a tv show, therefore it does not have a gender, therefore it can not have any sexual attraction to the same or the opposite gender.
Horses do not talk or have tattoos or wings. That is factual. Good job. What does that have to do with them being gay though?
You ask me to learn to be more polite, but I never said anything rude. I never insulted the artists themselves, or at leat I never intended to. However, "Yourself as an artist is what I don't like" sounds pretty insulting to me, so perhaps it would be best if you also tried to do the same.
I am an artist, you are an artist, that other person was also an artist. We are all artists here. So what makes me deserve less politeness than someone else?
Whether or not someone says they want art to be critiqued or not, it doesn't matter when you are posting it publicly. Posting art publicly is just asking to be critiqued - that's what it is. As I mentioned in a post before - if someone were to leave a comment on your art and say "wow, this looks really good!" would you tell them to go away because you "don't want critique"? It goes both ways. People who accept positive feedback but do not accept negative feedback are not artists.
